Treatments We Provide
Joint Injections
Corticosteroid Injections:
Corticosteroid injections combine a corticosteroid and a short-term anesthetic directly into the site of pain or arthritis. The anesthetic provides immediate pain relief for a few hours, while the corticosteroid reduces inflammation, swelling, and pain in the hip area within a couple of days.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections:
PRP injections use concentrated platelets from the patient’s own blood to promote tissue healing. After extracting and isolating platelet-rich plasma, it is precisely injected into the area of pain using ultrasound guidance. Pain relief typically occurs within two to six weeks following the injection.
Amniotic Injections:
Amniotic fluid, collected with consent from healthy births, contains growth factors, collagen, hyaluronic acid, stem cells, cytokines, and other components that promote healing and reduce inflammation. Purified amniotic injections are administered at the site of pain or arthritis to aid tissue regeneration and alleviate pain and inflammation. Temporary and minimal swelling may occur post-injection. Amniotic injections are beneficial for joint pain, hip arthritis, tendinitis, and rotator cuff tears.
Arthroscopy
Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that allows orthopedic surgeons to diagnose and treat joint conditions. Using a small camera called an arthroscope, inserted through tiny incisions, surgeons can visualize the inside of the joint in real-time. This procedure helps in identifying and addressing issues such as torn cartilage, ligament injuries, and joint inflammation with precision, often resulting in faster recovery times and less post-operative discomfort compared to traditional surgery.
Keyhole Bunion Surgery
Keyhole Bunion Surgery, also known as Minimally Invasive Bunion Surgery, is a modern approach to correcting bunions with smaller incisions and reduced soft tissue trauma compared to traditional surgery. This technique utilizes specialized instruments and a small camera to realign the toe joint and remove the bony prominence causing the bunion. Benefits include quicker recovery, less pain, and smaller scars, allowing patients to return to regular activities sooner than with traditional methods.
Minimally invasive surgeries
Discectomy:
A discectomy is performed to treat herniated discs by trimming or removing the herniated portion to alleviate pressure on the spinal nerves.
Spinal Decompression:
Spinal decompression addresses spinal stenosis, where the narrowing of the vertebral canal compresses nerves. Through minimally invasive surgery (MIS), bone and tissue causing compression are removed to relieve pressure on the nerves within the spinal canal.
Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF):
TLIF is used to treat conditions like radiating pain, spondylolisthesis (vertebral slipping forward), degenerative disc disease, and recurrent disc herniation. During TLIF, the affected vertebra is removed and replaced with screws, a cage, or spacer to alleviate nerve pressure and restore vertebral space.
